As a global principal investigator, steering committee member, and FDA liaison on multinational pivotal trials, he has helped shape device labeling and clinical guidelines. He is among a select group of cardiologists with deep expertise in cardiac surgical ablation, has published in authoritative textbooks, and co-created the Tampa 2 Maze procedure. A founding board member of his health system's clinically integrated provider network, he has served as system chair and department director, with direct oversight of CMS quality measures and reimbursement arrangements across cardiology and cardiac surgery. As a founding member of his own group practice, he brings ten years of managerial experience in outpatient medicine.
